Job Description
This position is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who will assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by a licensed occupational therapist to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services under the direction of an occupational therapist.
- Guide patients through exercises and treatments to improve their physical abilities.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress throughout their treatment.
- Educate patients and their families about the occupational therapy process and goals.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Valid licensure in the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
