Day Shift: 5x8 Hour schedule from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
Job Description
The Physical Therapist will provide acute care services to adult and geriatric patients focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Implement various therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and families regarding recovery paths and safety measures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize adaptive devices and assistive technologies to support patient mobility.
- Ensure patient safety, monitor vitals, and provide necessary care during treatments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Current NM Physical Therapist License (pending acceptable at time of submission).
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
