Day Shift: 5x8 hours, Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide essential rehabilitation services in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population requiring evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitative care to improve physical mobility and ensure optimal recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient mobility and recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety practices.
- Assess and manage patient pain and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
- Current Physical Therapist license in California.
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience with AROM, AAROM, PROM, and various assistive devices.
- Knowledge of orthopedic and geriatric patient care practices.
