This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. One Saturday per month from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a compensatory day off in that same week. Sunday coverage is only required if needed for orthopedic post-operative patients who cannot be discharged on Saturday.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The role will involve evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients, developing tailored treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records using the EPIC charting system.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and progress.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including protocols for COVID-19.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania or a compact license.
- EPIC experience required.
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions allowed.
- Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions only.
