Job Description
This is a 13-week contract position for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Orthopedic care. The nurse will provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring patient comfort and safety while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Shift
DAYS 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (low census 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a 45-bed facility.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaboration with medical staff and family members to implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using MEDHOST EMR.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including required certifications.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Med-Surge, Telemetry, or Orthopedic nursing.
- Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients is preferred.
- Ability to float to other units as necessary.
