Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Required to work one weekend shift per month.
Job Description
Join our dynamic therapy team as an Occupational Therapist, specializing in neurological rehabilitation and comprehensive care for patients with various conditions, including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, amputations, orthopedic recovery, wound care, and respiratory therapy. Our patient-centered approach aims to restore function, promote independence, and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapy interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional health.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and modifications to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and strategies for improvement.
- Assist in the transition of patients back to home and community settings.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar setting, preferably in a SNF/IRF/Acute environment.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Arizona.
- Experience with adult patient populations is preferred.
