Location

• Kingman, Arizona

Contract

• 16 weeks
• 10-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
• Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• AED
• Must have completed a recognized program for Occupational Therapists.
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting

Job Details

• Occupational therapy role providing assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting
• Responsibilities include evaluation/screening, plan of care development, treatment, patient/family education, documentation, and participation in staff and student support activities
• Candidate must be able to lift and transfer patients and equipment and perform standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, and communication tasks as part of care delivery

Work Environment

• Possible exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but not as a routine duty
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation
• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
• The client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks

Start Date Note

• If the license is not in hand at application, the tentative start date will be set 4 weeks out to allow time for licensing
