Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday/Wednesday: 7 AM - 5 PM; Tuesday/Thursday: 7 AM - 4 PM; Friday: 7 AM - 1 PM

Job Description

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on the patients’ needs and goals. You will be responsible for directing therapy services and ensuring effective return to community activities. Your role includes educating patients, families, and peers, while adhering to our organization's Mission Statement and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions clearly and timely in compliance with guidelines.
• Ensure care is provided under signed physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student program, offering a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development to maintain licensure and enhance knowledge.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and professional conduct standards.
• Understand organizational performance improvement methodologies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license.
