Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Oncology Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a hospital setting, particularly with oncology patients. You will play a critical role in patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes
- Maintain accurate patient records in the Meditech system
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Must hold an active Compact RN license at the time of submission
- BLS certification is required
- Advanced skills or willingness to learn to access portacath
