Physical Therapist - New Grad

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient care, you will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. Your role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. You will also serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and development of learning objectives.
• Create an individualized professional development plan.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Valid state licensure in good standing.

Schedule

This position requires a 40-hour work week with a flexible schedule.
