Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

Schedule

This position offers evening shifts, consisting of 12-hour rotations from 3 PM to 3 AM or 3 AM to 3 PM. Flexible scheduling is provided, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, including one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must also be available to work at least one holiday during the contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be part of the Med Surg Float Pool, providing essential nursing care across multiple Med Surg Tele units and the South East Tower. The role requires adaptability to different unit needs and may involve floating to various units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in acute care Med Surg/Tele in a hospital setting.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• An active New York RN license is mandatory.
• For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. work experience is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
