Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

This position offers an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday. Shift start times can be as early as 7 AM and can end as late as 5:30 PM.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat hospitalized patients to support them in regaining the physical and cognitive skills necessary for daily living and a safe discharge from the hospital.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide interventions that assist patients in achieving daily living skills.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care Occupational Therapy is required.
Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Michigan.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
