Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend, as well as at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit, which has 40 beds. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility according to the facility's scheduling needs and may be required to float to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and treatment plans using EPIC charting.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Be prepared to take on charge nurse responsibilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• At least 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification are required.
• Preferred: 2 years of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry.
