Job Description
Join a dynamic and supportive Med/Surg unit, dedicated to providing top-notch patient care. As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be caring for a diverse group of Med/Surg patients in a 30-bed unit. Please note that while this is a dedicated education unit, travel nurses will focus exclusively on patient care and not on education.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Level 1 trauma center or mid-large hospital setting.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate timeliness.
