Job Description
The MRI Technologist performs duties essential for achieving efficient, high-quality patient care using GE equipment. This role is vital in ensuring that imaging procedures are conducted effectively and with attention to patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and ensure the quality of the images obtained.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment following protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in patient positioning to optimize image acquisition.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved two-year Radiology training program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
