Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Schedule

Nights – 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, with requirements for 1 to 2 weekend shifts per week.

Job Description

This position is on a 43-bed Cardiac Med/Tele unit. Candidates must have the flexibility to adapt to the facility's scheduling needs, which may include block booking requests and floating to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an acute medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EPIC).
• Work in a charge nurse role with appropriate training.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
