Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) or 4x10-hour shifts (specify in submittal). On-call duties of 8-12 hours per month are required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Tech with over 3 years of experience, particularly in a high-level trauma center environment. Candidates must be proficient in both scrub and circulate roles, particularly for orthopedic trauma, neuro surgeries, and robotic surgeries. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical team and engage with various patient cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring the operating room is ready for surgery.
• Maintain sterile techniques and protocols during all surgical procedures.
• Work closely with the surgical team to manage patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the operating room.
• Perform other duties as directed by the surgical team leaders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Certifications required: BLS; CNOR certification preferred.
• Active New Jersey or Compact License required at the time of submission.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferable.
• Travel experience is preferred but not required.
