Registered Nurse (RN) - Days Shift

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position focused on the delivery of age-specific, direct patient care. The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN also assumes leadership responsibilities, which includes the delegation of work to other levels of employees while ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Participate in clinical orientation and ongoing education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) prior to contract start date.
• Completion of a booked course for any required certifications during Clinical Orientation if not already certified.

Schedule

Days shift with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
