Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13-week days assignment requiring an active VT or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

- Hospital-based Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
- Provides anesthesia recovery and post-anesthesia nursing care
- Day shift schedule
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required upon acceptance
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC)
- Certifications must be active prior to contract start, or a course must be booked by the start of clinical orientation
Additional Information
- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and specialty-specific standards
- Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other staff levels
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare delivery
