Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Float between units as required, including Telemetry and Emergency Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience with MEDITECH EHR system preferred.
