Professional RN Team Lead

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a shift from 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Professional RN Team Lead will be responsible for managing daily nursing operations, including time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. This role involves direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patients' conditions. The RN Team Lead will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and act as a patient advocate.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting on patient's condition.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care.
• Practices ethically and professionally within nursing scope.
• Promotes evidence-based practices and best practices related to patient care.
• Maintains clinical competence and meets required education deadlines.
• Communicates effectively and documents appropriately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Attends unit councils and staff meetings.
• May assist in dropping down to LPN Med Cart position as needed.
• Floats to other units based on staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Completion of required vaccinations and health screenings.
• Must possess the skills to operate necessary medical equipment.
