Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room, specializing in various surgical procedures. This position requires experience in a Level 1 trauma center and the ability to manage both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and equipment.
- Assist in positioning and draping of patients for surgery.
- Manage surgical instruments and maintain sterile technique during operations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and data management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
- Experience in various surgical specialties including orthopedic, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastic surgery, neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Recent experience with EPIC is mandatory within the last 2 years.
Schedule
This position involves 12-hour night shifts, with a requirement for weekend work and on-call duties. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
