Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Acute Care Unit. Our facility is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and you will play a vital role in achieving that mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Acute Care Unit, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress and record significant changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical staff.
• Conduct assessments, including IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and EKG monitoring.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and discharge needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications completed prior to end of orientation.
• Preferred candidates will have ICU/Stepdown experience or a minimum of 1 year in Med-Surg nursing.
• Ability to thrive in a changing and fast-paced environment.
