Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Outpatient Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the operating room setting, particularly with expertise in robotics, neuro, orthopedic, plastics, gynecology, and heavy experience in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsies.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the operating room.
- Assist with surgical procedures in various specialties, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room.
- Current AHA BLS & ACLS certification required.
- Proficient in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy procedures.
Holiday Expectations
- MUST work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
- Additionally, work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
