Job Description
Join our team as a Hyperbaric Registered Nurse, responsible for providing specialized care to patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT). In this role, you will also function as a Wound Clinician, providing individualized wound care in collaboration with medical staff. Your dedication to safety and adherence to established guidelines will ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Operate hyperbaric treatment equipment according to training and protocols.
- Perform routine cleansing and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and ancillary equipment.
- Participate in emergency procedures and drills.
- Provide preventive and supportive wound care to patients.
- Ensure compliance with Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) guidelines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hyperbaric Clinician.
- Active MD or compact license required at time of submission.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- CHT or CHRN preferred.
- Completion of a UHMS-approved 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training.
