Description
Hyperbaric RN
Location
- Frederick, Maryland
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- No weekends
Contract
- 13 weeks
Role Overview
- Provides care for patients receiving hyperbaric oxygen treatment
- Operates ancillary hyperbaric equipment
- Follows safety and regulatory guidelines related to hyperbaric treatment
- Provides individualized preventive and supportive wound care in coordination with medical staff
- 2:1 patient ratio
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) or HBO clinical experience
- Infusion (2 years of experience)
- Infusion experience within the last year
- Wound Care experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Completion of an approved Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training
Preferred Qualifications
- CHT or CHRN
- First-time traveler accepted if experienced as an HBO clinician
