Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. This position involves providing care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Perform wound care, I/O catheterizations, and tracheostomy care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Engage in frequent huddles to ensure team alignment and patient safety.
- Utilize iPhone for effective communication within the unit.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience in Med-Surg nursing preferred.
