Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:30) with rotating shifts including:
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Call is required 4-5 days per month and varies based on need. Weekend shifts: 1 weekend shift every other month, but this may also vary.
Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in OR PACU for our GI Lab. Due to the small size of our facility, proficiency in both areas is essential, along with the ability to take call as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
- Circulate and assist with bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD procedures.
- Provide post-anesthesia care in the PACU setting.
- Ensure safe and accurate specimen handling and labeling.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1 year of recent RN experience in OR PACU.
- Active RN license in South Carolina.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- 1 year of EPIC EMR experience.
- No first-time travelers at this time.
