Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit or the Acute Care Unit. The Rehabilitation Unit averages 12 patients, and there are co-treatment options available with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) in Acute Care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients as per therapy plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team for co-treatment sessions.
- Document patient progress and provide reports to supervising therapists.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current COTA license in the state of Oklahoma.
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA.
- Skills checklist current within the last year, pertinent to the specialty.
- Two supervisory reference forms taken within the last two years.
- Recent traveler experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
