Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and participating in patient rehabilitation programs. The nurse will communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and will play a key role in discharge planning and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Create and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
• Participate actively in the rehabilitation program on assigned units.
• Initiate and execute discharge planning from the point of admission.
• Ensure effective communication of patient status changes among care teams.
• Provide training and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Contribute positively to the unit's functioning through guidance and teamwork.
• Monitor and manage supplies and equipment effectively to ensure quality care.
• Assume charge responsibility as needed after orientation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license required.
• BLS certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to the first shift for specific positions.
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired.
