Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse. The nurse will be required to float between facilities, working among a network of five hospitals based on staffing needs. The position requires strong clinical skills in neuro-critical care and the ability to manage patients with neurological impairments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to neurologically impaired patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and neurological assessments.
• Administer intravenous medications and manage critical drips.
• Assist with procedures such as EVD insertion and post-operative care for neurosurgery patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Neuro ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NEuro ICU background with knowledge of dysrhythmia management.
• Active state RN license – New Jersey or Compact.
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
