Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate critical assessment skills to prioritize patient needs and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and interpreting serious situations.
• Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment, including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed, including medications and IV therapy.
• Document observations, interventions, and patient status accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate care delivery and documentation with team members to match patient care requirements.
• Maintain adequate supplies and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Ventilator experience is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to float to medical-surgical or ICU units as needed.
