Job Description
We are seeking a skilled IV Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a certification in PICC line insertion and guided ultrasound. This role is essential for patient care within our IV Therapy Department, providing critical IV services in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform PICC line insertions using guided ultrasound techniques.
- Provide care and maintenance for IV access including administration of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patients’ responses to treatments.
Schedule
This position offers a day shift, with options for 6am-6pm or 7am-7pm for certified candidates. Non-certified candidates will be required to work on a rotating shift basis.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certification in PICC line insertion and ultrasound guidance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 hours per week.
