Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The candidate must have charge experience and be willing to take on charge responsibilities. The unit is equipped with 12 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 2:1.
Responsibilities
- Circulate C-sections.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care in the labor and delivery setting.
- Supervise unit staff and coordinate patient activities effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Current Texas RN license (active license only; temporary licenses are not acceptable).
- NRP certification preferred.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system is a plus.
