Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans that align with their needs and goals. The ideal candidate will implement and adapt therapy services, ensuring a path to effective recovery and reintegration into community activities. The role involves educating patients, families, and colleagues, while maintaining compliance with professional standards and organizational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Document patient interactions and progress accurately and timely.
- Ensure adherence to physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in student programs and provide mentorship.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Comply with safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active and applicable state licensure for the practicing state.
- Prior experience with Select Medical is highly desired.
Schedule
This position offers a 5x8.0 schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.
