Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Home Health RN to provide quality patient care in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of patient populations and be adept at managing home health visits effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and provide care to patients with various medical conditions, including post-surgical cases, cardiopulmonary issues, and neurological disorders.
- Manage patient documentation and maintain thorough records using electronic medical systems.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and safety precautions.
- Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices to support patient mobility and daily activities.
- Perform home visits, ensuring a minimum of 6-8 visits daily as per management's discretion.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and best practices in home care settings.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health nursing.
- Active RN license in the state of Florida or Compact license.
- Current BLS certification required.
- OASIS training preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
- COVID-19 vaccination required or an exemption form on file.
- Flu shot or declination and mask-wearing at all times in the workplace.
