Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown Neuro to join our team. This role requires proficiency in patient care within a progressive care unit setting, although prior PCU experience is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care during night shifts is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in Stepdown Neuro unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress thoroughly in the charting system.
- Assist with ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration safely during orientation.
Required Experience
Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty applying for, with at least 1 year of experience preferred within one facility.
Certifications / Licensure
- Must hold a current and valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
- American Red Cross or HANDAHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required and must be active at the time of submission.
