5x8s from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. On-call required as needed, with options to pick up shifts if interested.
Job Description
This is an Operating Room RN position at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, serving adult and geriatric surgical patients. Strong experience in general OR and trauma is required, in addition to vascular, orthopedic, podiatry, robotic surgery, neurology/neurosurgery, and general surgery. Experience with Epic electronic documentation is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various surgical procedures, including vascular, orthopedic, podiatry, and robotic surgeries.
- Document patient care and procedures electronically using Epic.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols throughout assigned procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
- Community hospital experience.
- Experience in Level I and Level II trauma settings.
- Vascular experience required, including procedures such as AAA repair and femoral-popliteal bypass.
- Orthopedic experience required, including total joints and fracture procedures.
- Robotic surgery experience required, specifically in urology.
- Neurology/neurosurgery and general surgery experience are required.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- TNCC certification required.
- Current PA RN license required.
