This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
3x12 hour shifts, Nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday. Floating to other facilities may occasionally be required.
Job Description
The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on adult, pediatric, and infant patients. The role requires the ability to operate both CT and X-Ray equipment and involves working in outpatient and emergency department settings. Experience with PACS, GE, and Siemens imaging equipment is essential, along with knowledge of Samsung X-Ray systems being preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans for abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and brain perfusion.
- Conduct X-Ray examinations including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal assessments.
- Start and manage approximately 8-9 IVs daily.
- Utilize 3D rendering technology in imaging procedures.
- Document patient information and imaging results using EPIC.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray.
- Experience with outpatient imaging and emergency department cases.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R) required.
