This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 40 hours per week. Weekends every 4th weekend with varied shifts.
Job Description
The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The candidate will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during examinations. It is essential to have experience with Siemens MRI systems and the ability to start IVs as part of the procedure. This role does not require on-call hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans as per established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Manage imaging equipment and assist in its maintenance.
- Document procedures accurately in patient records.
Required Experience
- Experience with Siemens MRI systems.
- Inpatient and outpatient MRI experience.
- IV start experience.
- ARRT MRI certification or AMRIT with recent Siemens experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT MRI certification or AMRIT certification required.
