We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool for the Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) unit. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients across designated medical-surgical units, with a focus on telemetry monitoring, respiratory support, and specialized treatments. As a float nurse, you will support multiple units and adapt to varying patient needs in a dynamic hospital environment.

• Support medical-surgical units (3W, 5N, 5S) by delivering high-quality care to adult patients.
• Manage respiratory interventions, including high-flow oxygen and BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure).
• Perform telemetry monitoring to assess and respond to cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Provide care for patients with stroke, observation status, and other acute conditions.
• Administer and monitor intravenous drips, including heparin and cardizem (diltiazem).
• Ensure compliance with ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) protocols during emergencies.
• Conduct NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) assessments for stroke patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain clear communication with healthcare providers.
• Participate in unit-specific protocols and contribute to a safe, efficient patient environment.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting, such as medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• Licensure: Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at the time of application).
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) required.

• Must commit to 48 hours a week.
• Includes every other weekend and holiday rotations.

• Flu Immunization: Mandatory unless a valid medical exemption with supporting documentation is provided.
• Scrub Policy: Any color scrubs are acceptable as long as they are clean and neat.
