Radiation Therapist

Location:
3400 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19128
(Multiple locations: PCAM, PAH, PPMC)

Job Type:

• Contract (13 weeks, with potential extension)

• Temp-to-Perm opportunity available

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• 8-hour shifts

• Shift timing between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Candidates must be flexible within these hours

• Shift preference must be indicated at the time of submission

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiation therapy procedures and be comfortable working across multiple locations. This role involves delivering radiation treatments, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment

• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery

• Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions

• Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and healthcare staff

• Maintain proper documentation and patient records

• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy

• Experience with Proton Therapy and/or CT Simulation (CT/SIMS) preferred

• Ability to work across multiple locations (PCAM, PAH, PPMC)

• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Certifications:

• ARRT Certification (Radiation Therapy) – Required

• Valid Radiation Therapy Certification – Required

Training:

• Candidates will be paired with an experienced Radiation Therapist

• Hands-on training provided on assigned machine
