Acute Stroke Ready Center
Magnet Designated
Beds: 35
Unit Information:
Census? Average patients/day? Sat/Sun – 9 per day, Weekdays – 17 per day
Beds: 1 MRI Suite
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Inpatient, Outpatient, mostly adults
Neuro, spine, tumor work ups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, spectroscopy
Required License, National Certification, Certs:
BLS, ARRT-MR
Skills required:
Experience with above case types. Send for manager approval if candidate is lacking any of them
Hard Stops: IV starts
EPIC experience required
Support within the Department:
RT at hospital
Imaging Assistant
Additional Techs – multiple teammates staffed during weekday, 1 MRI Tech assistant on weekends
Hospitalist 24/7
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC - required
PACS: Change Healthcare
Unit specific equipment: Siemens Aera MRI
