Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW) required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-volume trauma setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in fast-paced environments, and experience managing critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients in trauma and critical care settings
• Perform assessments, treatments, and diagnostic testing related to cardiopulmonary function
• Manage ventilators, airway support, and emergency respiratory interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in high-volume trauma settings
• Strong experience with ventilators and critical care patients
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS preferred (if applicable)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous travel or contract experience
• Experience in large trauma hospitals or Level I/II trauma centers
