Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Location: Cumming GA 30041
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3x12s | 36 Hours/Week

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
AHA BLS certification required
NIH Stroke Certification required
ACLS preferred
No local candidates within 50 miles

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical patients during assigned shifts
Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Monitor vital signs, lab results, and patient progress
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
