Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises

- Unit: MedSurg/Telemetry
- Beds: 34 ( 3 surge rooms)
- Average Census: 32
- Experience Required: Minimum 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
- First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Patient Population
Primarily medical patients with diagnoses including:
- ESRD
- CHF
- Pneumonia
- Sickle Cell Crisis
- Diabetes/DKA
- Acute & Chronic Renal Failure
- Wounds/Wound Care
Note: Beginning Spring 2026, unit will also care for Hematology/Oncology patients. Travelers are not required to have chemotherapy certification and will not administer chemo unless certified.

- Nights: 1:6
- Critical Surge: Up to 1:7–8

- Active RN License

- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone preferred)

Floating Requirements
Traveler must float within Region 2 facilities as needed and within scope:

Traveler will remain on the clock during mid-shift travel between facilities.
