Number of Beds - 406
Number of Staff – 18 laboratory assistants
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 supervisor, 3-4 laboratory assistants
- Evening Shift – 1 coordinator, 2-3 laboratory assistants
- Night Shift - 2 laboratory assistants
Patient Ratios – 1:1, estimated never guaranteed
Type of equipment - Mobilab
EMR - Meditech / CPN

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

At least 6 months of current hospital acute care Med Tech experience
BLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Specimen processing experience
Mobilab experience
Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Venipuncture
Specimen receipt and accessioning utilizing Meditech
