Number of Beds - 504
Number of Staff – 65 in Laboratory
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 2 supervisors, 6 technologists, 3 lab assistants
- Evening Shift – 3 technologists, 2 lab assistants
- Night Shift – 3 technologists, 2 lab assistants
Patient Ratios – NA
Type of equipment – Standard laboratory instrumentation, primary Siemens and Sysmex. Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Micro
EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Minimum 6 months of current acute care Med Tech hospital experience
Must be certified technologist, prefer MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP)

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Blood Bank experience
HCA/Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Analytic testing using laboratory instrumentation, review and release results
Troubleshooting instrument issues
Interaction with key stakeholders, to include phoning critical, confirming orders
