JOB DESCRIPTION
CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality

· About Facility:
o 11 licensed beds
o No Trauma Designation – Free Standing ED
o We offer 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services
o Outpatient imaging is also provided at this location
o Stroke Center
o Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
· Unit Information:
o Average patients/day? 70-80 in ED, 60-80 in Radiology
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Dependent on experience
· Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o ED and outpatients at this location
· Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
o BLS
· Skills required:
o Dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technologist experience
o IV starts, 3D rendering using TerraRecon software
o Siemens equipment experience is required
· Support within the Department:
o Department leadership
· Technology/Equipment:
o Diagnostic X-ray Equipment: Shimadzu room and portable with Konica Software
o CT Equipment: Siemens go.Top
o EMR: EPIC
o Med dispensing: OmniCell
o Monitors: Philips
· Floating: If yes, where?
o Potential exists
· Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 2 days departmental
· Other notes:
o Scrub Color: Black
