Number of Beds – 29 beds, 4 OR's, 3 PACU Bays, 12 Antepartum rooms and 10 Triage rooms
Number of Staff – 148
Type of staff:
Day Shift – 22 RN's, 2-3 CST's,, 1 Charge and 1 Flex
Night Shift -20 RN's, 1-2CST's, 1 Charge and 1 Flex
Patient ratios: 2:1
Type of equipment – Centricity and Client monitors
EMR – Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Meditech experience
PACU experience
OR experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Vaginal and c-sect deliveries, d&c, Hyst, PP tubal, cerclage placement and versions
High risk OB
Best personality Fit:
Self-starter who can work independently and support fellow teammates
